Hays Technology is looking for a Software Engineer (Automation) to be a part of an international industrial technology group in Belgium and help them build machinery and plants to revolutionize pharmaceutical industry.

What you will be doing

• responsible for developing and programming of software
• responsible for improving software applications for new requirements and technologies
• developing customer’s specific requirements in our software application
• maintaining software validation and tests
• investigating new solutions and improvements for our software applications

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or ICT
• One year of experience
• Experienced in Siemens Step7, Tia portal, CPU’s: S7-300/400/1500
• Industrial Communication Protocols (OPC, Profinet, Profibius, IO Link, Ethercard)
• Motor Drive Control
• Databases (MS and non-MS), SQL (QRM Frameworks)
• .NET technologies (VB, C#)
• Knowledge of machines and SCADA developments
• Interest in automation
• Fluent in English and knowledge of Dutch
