For a client near Brussels, Hays Technology is looking for a Security Engineer F5.

Your tasks
Your tasks are the installation, configuration, management and optimisation of F5. You analyse and monitor our F5 environment and make the necessary changes to ensure its availability. You are also involved in business projects that require changes to F5.
You ensure that the system is operational and up to date in terms of OS, HW. The systems must be updated regularly so that they are not vulnerable (CVE).
You work proactively and focus on solving problems - as well as monitoring agreed business processes and procedures - that end users may encounter.
You are in contact with the suppliers in order to report problems that cannot be solved immediately, follow up the evolution of the ticket and implement the solution.

Your profile
- You have at least a Master's degree, or equivalent through experience.
- You have the F5 certifications related to the function.
- You have a strong interest in network management, maintenance and security
- Working in a structured and procedural way according to ITIL, PRINCE2 and Agile is a matter of course for you
- You like to consult with your colleagues and are only satisfied if you have provided excellent service.
- You care about security and monitor the security of systems.
- You are familiar with F5, Palo Alto, Fortigate tools.
- You are familiar with Darktrace, Solarwinds, Exabeam.
- You know that some tasks can only be done outside office hours (weekends and after 22:00)
