Great and multi-tasks opportunity for a mechatronics Engineer
Our client is an international global leader providing a full range of engineering services and technical solutions to its industrial customers worldwide, principally serving heavy industries. To support the growth of their Feasibility Study Team, we are looking for a Process & Integration Mechatronics Engineer. This candidate will carry out Engineering Studies to support the Business Development of our Projects integrating Flow Control and Mechatronics Solutions.

Inside the feasibility studies, you’ll integrate and customize the existing Functions and Products to fulfil Customer requirements for safety, operation and performance. You’ll highlight limitations and risks related to each application to enable Management to proper evaluate risk associated with quote and project commitment. Based on Customer applications and requests, you’ll propose development needs and define the specifications with Product Management, Engineering and R&D. You’ll lead and complete detailed Feasibility Studies. You’ll collect the relevant information in collaboration with our Sales Teams and during Visits at Customer Site. You’ll coordinate with Key Suppliers and Subcontractors the integration of specific Technologies. You’ll design and propose a Safety Concept according Machine/Robotic European regulations. You’ll draft the Functional Description explaining the Proposal. You’ll complete real time Simulation of the Robotic Proposal to validate its integration into Customer Installation and Process. You’ll participate to the development and integration of Data Management in order to monitor the Performances of the Robotic Installation. You’ll coordinate the Equipment Modelling and the development of the Robotic Proposal. You’ll develop and draft the Global Automation Concept including the different control command Technologies. You’ll prepare Equipment and Engineering Costing including preliminary Project Planning. You’ll support R&D Team to integrate new Product and Function for Trials at Customer Site. After getting the Customer Order, you’ll join the Sales and Project Teams to launch the Project and explain the Proposal.

Graduated as Electro-Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer, you have a confirmed experience in the Heavy Industry with an advantage in the Steel Industry applications and the Continuous Casting Process. You understand the mechanical concepts and limitation of an Industrial Equipment. You are able to integrate Industrial Robot, hydraulic and pneumatic actuators, electric drives and the associated Control Command Equipment. You have a confirmed experience with Automation Software for Robot/PLC Simulation and Programming. You will be integrated in a local French speaking Team working into a worldwide English speaking environment. You will manage the Study as a Project, leading the associated resources and driving the communication with the internal and external stakeholders. You’re creative and innovative to offer unique customized solutions, thinking beyond and shaping the future. You have a strong sense of ownership and leadership. You are open minded, willing to travel worldwide and ready to integrate new Cultures and new Technologies in your daily Activities.
