For a customer in the Antwerp region, Hays Technology is looking for a Java Developer for a full-time job. You help our customer develop, maintain and improve software within a highly technical and innovative environment.

What will you do?
• Design applications and software in Java.
• Develop applications into technical documentation.
• You provide advanced support in collaboration with all teams that are part of the process.
• Thanks to analytical thinking, you will help the company with complex issues.
• You are working on new applications and implementations, but you also maintain the current environment.
• You develop software that will help with the production within the company.
• You work with customers to turn their expectations into functionalities.

Who will you work for?
For this function we are looking for a Senior/ Medior/ Junior Java Developer. The customer is in an attractive and technical sector. The company is a market leader in their specialization and has several branches nationally and internationally.

Skills and responsibilities
• You have a master degree in IT or Engineering.
• You have an excellent level of English, Dutch is a plus.
• You have experience with developing in Java.
• You have very strong analytical and communicative skills.
• Experience with following frameworks/technologies is an asset: Hibernate, Spring Boot, SQL, Vaadin.
• You are assertive, hands-on, independent and you can take initiative.
