Your new dream job as Jr. IT Support Officer? This international, industry-leading law firm is looking for an IT Support Officer. Here are your main tasks:

  • Providing a high level of customer service and support.
  • Provide customer support via phone, email, direct contact and remotely, ensuring all incidents are logged
  • Take ownership of incidents and service requests and ensure they are responded to and resolved in a timely manner, while escalating incidents/service requests that cannot be resolved to the appropriate teams and ensuring ongoing communication with users.
  • Independently and as part of a team, diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide application support for MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Mobile, iManage and all other enterprise-wide applications.
  • Provide support for laptops, printers, remote access, mobile devices and other hardware.
  • Support for audio visual and virtual conference rooms for internal client meetings and events.
  • Assist in creating and updating user support knowledge base and support documentation.
  • Execute small to medium sized IT projects as directed by the IT Manager and Privacy Officer.
  • Comply with all local and global IT processes, procedures and policies.
  • Liaise with third parties and suppliers as required.
  • Participate in all enterprise-wide IT initiatives.

What you need to apply for this position
  • You speak English fluently, French or Dutch is preferred
  • You hold a EU work permit

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in an IT Support role
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident, clear and professional telephone manners.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.

Must be able to work shifts, rotating Monday through Friday at the following times: 08:30-16:30; 09:30-17:30; 10:00-18:00.

Your technical skills
  • Strong knowledge and troubleshooting of Microsoft-based operating systems with an emphasis on Windows 10.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Good experience in ticketing in accordance with ITIL best practices.
  • Good knowledge of common networks and troubleshooting.
  • Experience troubleshooting network printers, multifunction devices and copiers.
  • Experience supporting and configuring mobile devices, specifically supporting the iOS platform.
