Hays Technology is looking for an IT support engineer for a company located in Herentals.

Your new position

The IT support engineer will provide IT 1st and 2nd level support to employees using different IT business solutions. The support engineer will also work closely with other members of the IT Team and other departments in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions and improvements. You support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and operation of IT equipment and software. You manage expectations of multiple business stakeholders. You practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment including communal hardware and equipment, personal hardware and equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, audio visual equipment collaboration tools, and digital data management and application software.

Your profile

· You have a previous experience providing 1st and 2nd level IT support
· You are fluent in English and Dutch
· You have experience with Microsoft Windows and Office packages
· You have experience with IT ticketing service software and Antivirus applications
· You have excellent communication skills
